Not to be vulgar, but is he surrounded by trash, mushrooms, and a penis? If he is, I think that explains the sigh of indignation on his face...nice work, regardless of my interpretation :)

Haha no those are just more abstracted forms from the original painting by Gauguin, so it wasn't really intentional but I think your interpretation fits as well :p

Haha no problem. I don't expect it to be common knowledge, I just love the piece, although it is fairly well known but that's in art land, as I like to call it haha. I'm stuck in art land all the time, being a Visual Arts major at Uni lol.

Well I think that's interesting from my perspective! I've never been to Canada. I think I might want to move out by Vancouver someday...nice place to take up photography the Pacific Northwest.

I certainly agree although you might have to get used to the heavy amount of rain being so close to the coast. Canada is a great place in general from my experience though, I'd recommend at least visiting sometime.
