I love that the flesh seems blasted off. Perhaps the supplicant was praying for deliverance and instead received a nuclear blast?! I think your work with skeletons and the human structure is fascinating. :)

Haha or maybe in order to even reach deliverance he needed his flesh blasted off? haha Different way of looking at it lol
And thanks :) I'm a structure person so bones have always fascinated me. I also like to reuse the same image and continually rework it, this has the same skeleton from a few other works I've done.

I also am fascinated with structures and structural engineering...have you considered depicting the construction of a building (any kind would do, but a skyscraper would be appropriate) where the internal iron and steel girders have been replaced with human bone? Femurs and such...maybe even have little iron girder construction workers? :)

I've considered that (the bone building that is), I'd probably use it as a part of a piece of a whole over the summer. It's a great idea, not to mention it'll give me more practice drawing bones, yay! haha ;)
